Big furniture clear-out at the Park Inn by Radisson Cologne City West

To prepare for the renovation of the second story, the four-star hotel on Cologne’s Inner green belt at the end of June, which made many people the proud new owners of original, solid wood furniture. 41 complete room furnishings changed ownership with the help of one single Facebook Post or were donated to an aid organisation for the Syrian conflict. Many people responded to the facebook post, and came to collect lamps, tables, beds and mini-bar fridges. The Television Program WDR Lokalzeit from Cologne also reported on the give-away.
